Ever heard about CoCo Ichibanya Curry restaurant before? Ever had the opportunity to try it? If not, you are missing out! CoCo Ichibanya is based throughout Japan and, actually, the only places were you can find this restaurant in the States is on the west coast; Torrance; Irvine; and Roland Heights, California. Hawaii, has several locations as well.
There are different variations to the curry, but today I will show you the VERY basic. I will say, however, that this recipe is not the actual recipe of the curry found in the restaurant. This recipe is created according to my preference and how I remember my favorite curry.
RECIPE
Serves 4-5
5 cups water
6-7 cubes of S&B Golden Curry
1/2 teaspoon cayenne to taste
1 teaspoon honey to taste
1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
TIP: If you prefer it to be a little more spicy, add togarashi spice to your curry. You can find the spice at your local asian stores. Or add a dash of white pepper.

RECIPE
Serves 4-5
5 cups water
6-7 cubes of S&B Golden Curry

- Boil the water in a medium sauce pan, season with salt.
- Dissolve 6 S&B cubes to a smooth consistency. Keep stirring.
- *Optional* Add the 7th cube if you feel that you need it a little thicker.
- Once it starts to boil, turn the heat down to medium low.
- Add the cayenne, pepper, and honey to the mixture. Add more or less according to your preference.
- Serve with rice and your favorite toppings such as cheddar cheese, garlic bits, chicken katsu, hamburger, shredded pork, etc.
