My sister inspired me to make an ube flavored macaron, and her choice did not disappoint! Delicious!

RECIPE

1. FOLLOW THE BASIC FRENCH MACARON RECIPE.

For the basic french macaron recipe, click on the button below.

Basic French Macaron
UBE FILLING

1/4 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup ube jam
1/2 cup heavy cream

1. Combine all 3 ingredients in a small sauce pan and bring to boil. Stir for a few minutes until smooth.
2. Pour in a glass container and allow to cool before storing in the fridge.
3. Let it sit overnight or 4 hours before whipping it with a hand mixer.
4. Fill the french macarons with a piping bag or with a spoon and sandwich together.
5. Store cookies in the fridge.

Tip: The cookies improve with taste and texture the longer the cookies sit in the fridge.

Enjoy!
